Hey Sassy Peeps!
How are you guys this lovely evening? 🙂 As you guys know, I love to explore and a few weeks back I had a chance to re-explore a place that I used to visit a lot when I first moved to Florida.
Around six years ago my mom and I would hang out at the Festival Flea Market Mall for hours. Most of the time we didn’t even buy anything. We just thought it was a really cool place to enjoy one another and people watch. So you can imagine my excitement when I was invited to a blogger event that was being held at my old stumping grounds. Although I haven’t been in a while, as soon as I arrived I started to feel really nostalgic. I instantly thought of all the good times my mom and I shared walking up and down each aisle in awe of all the goodies.
After the blogger beauties and I ate lunch we took a tour of the market and then we were off to network and shop. Since shopping is so my thing and I was given $100 to spend so it was on and poppin. I couldn’t wait to see all the goodies.
My first stop was the super retro and hugeeee Hillsboro Antique Mall. Although I didn’t purchase anything in this particular area, I couldn’t help but love just about everything. It is simply amazing! It is stocked with a large selection of retro items, such as; high-end handbags and jewelry. I tell you it has something for everyone. #LoveIt!
My next stop was Tango Hair & Nails, a high end salon that has tons of hair care lines, nail polish, electronics (flat irons, curling irons, blow dryers and more). I was dying to get a gel manicure that day. However, they were totally booked so I scheduled an appointment for a few days later, and I have to say when I went back I was really please. My nail tech is amazing. I had such fun getting to know her while listening to her funny stories. I think I laughed the entire time I was in her chair. Can’t wait to visit that salon again!
After scheduling my appointment I was on the hunt for some cool sunnies. That is when I ran into a cool and hip place called, Miami Sunglass. They bring you everything from the latest sunglasses to readers. I actually found myself there longer than I thought, because the owner was so cool. I ended up chatting with him wayyy to long. LOL! He even did a few poses for SnapChat. #Hilarious!
When I finally pulled myself away from his booth I found myself drooling of several handmade and unique accessories. Those pieces are gorgeous!
After leaving there, I discovered and fell in love with Nina’s Place (Booth 6317). A very cool, chic and sassy boutique!!!! This was another booth that I hung around wayyy to long. Nina and her assistance are so cool and amazing, that I felt like I was at home and didn’t want to leave. On top of their amazing personalities they also have amazing clothing; including Linen garments and bold accessories. #BestClothingEver!!!! Oh and let’s not forget the amazing sale they are currently running. The boutique is offering 30% off the entire store and free earrings when you spend $25.00 or more from now until Oct 1, 2016. NOTE: They accept your Festivalue Dollars in return for a like on FaceBook and follow on Instagram!! I mean that’s an exceptional deal for all that you will receive.
After getting a much needed dose of Nina and her sassy store, I walked right across the aisle to Khushboo International Imports (Booth 6219)! Can you say OMGGG! The store had an impression selection of magnifying mirrors, magnifiers, travel mirrors and the list goes on and on. They literally had every type of mirror anyone could ever want or need. I ended up walking away with a much needed travel mirror. It totally came in handy last week with I was traveling for business. In addition to the tons of mirrors, they also carry scissors, tweezers and other beauty aids. I am telling you Khushboo is the bomb.com.
From there I headed on over to the The Soapy Bar (Booth 3243), where they take pride in creating quality bath and body products with organic ingredients. The Soapy Bar offers a collection of artisan and natural soap and body products. Each product offered by The Soapy Bar contains quality and organic ingredients in as a natural a state as possible. The Artisan line includes soaps crafted with a variety of colors and fragrance oils. The Naked line is composed of soaps crafted only with naturally derived ingredients and essential oils. The Soapy Bar product line includes handcrafted soaps, custom wedding, party, and baby shower favors. #SimplyAmazing!
It’s great, because there was so much to see, so many things to buy and so many people to chat with that I didn’t leave until almost five hours later. #Wowsers!
