St. Pete Beach

Happy Saturday Sassy Peeps!

While visiting the paradise called St. Pete Beach, FL I got a chance to really get up close and personal with the quaint and majestic Island. I am overjoyed to say that while experiencing these happy and memorable times I was blessed enough to capture them so that I can share with you guys.

Let me just say that the entire experience was major. However, there are were a handful of events/places that stood out to me more than others. Check them out below….

A few minutes after arriving on the Island I couldn’t help but notice this very massive and ornate pink building. The size and the color wouldn’t let me take my eyes off it for one moment. The first thing I thought was “OMG! What is this place?”

Well after doing some research and chatting it up with a few locals, I found out that it is the legendary and historic, Loews Don CeSar Hotel – St. Pete Beach. It Opened at the height of the Gatsby Era in 1928, and has been welcoming guests for nearly a century. The Pink Palace is the place on Florida’s Gulf Coast that offers the full experience.

All I can say is St. Pete is “Fabulous!”

The next memorable moment came when I ran across one of the best local Art Galleries ever, called Island Lifestyles. This little piece of heaven does not only sale art but they also sale handmade jewelry, handbags, home decor, and offer paddle boarding lessons. Talk about all-in-one! #Amazing!

My mom and I shopped and chatted with the owners for well over an hour. They are just as great as the pieces they sell.

Island Life

Just across the street from the Art Gallery I couldn’t help but notice the gorgeous body of water and the pelicans/seagulls that were posted up like fixtures. I tell you, I could have sat there all day watching them, because they have their own personalities and totally owned that area.

While enjoying St. Pete we pretty much took advantage of the of kitchen and private balcony at our Cottage, hosted by The Inn On The Beach. Although fugal we are not crazy, when hanging out on an Island right off the Gulf Of Mexico experiencing one if not all of the restaurants are a must. We asked around and heard that The Wharf Restaurant & Bar had the best stuffed shrimp around, and after experiencing them for ourselves we both agreed.

Experience Paddle Boarding and Seagulls

The Wharf

During our stay we had the pleasure of watching the sunset. Every evening all of the locals gather along the beach to watch the beautiful sunset. How do we know you might ask? Well, as stated previously, everyone is extremely welcoming. While we were out exploring the Island, pretty much everyone we came across told us where to go, what time to be there and to make sure we didn’t miss this gorgeous sight. #BondingMoments!

St. Pete Beach
