Hello Foodie Peeps!
OK, you guy have probably noticed that I don’t cover as many restaurants as I did in the past. Well, that’s because I have been really aggressive with my dietary restrictions, since I learned that dairy, soy and citrus is the cause of my horrible breakouts. Can you say “Eeeekkk!” When I finally nailed down the cause of my weird skin issues, I went full force and stopped eating a lot of different foods. Thank God above I have noticed a big difference in my skin in the past few months.
So when I was invited out to an establishment called, Ditmas, I immediately jumped on the opportunity. Why Ditmas you ask…Well there are a few reasons. One, it is only eleven minutes from my apartment. Two, they serve food that is completely free of any dairy, shellfish, and there is a rabbi on the premises at all times to ensure that all food entering the building abides by Kosher law. YayDitmas!
After I got over the initial excitement of it being a dairy-free establishment, y’all already no what my next question was, “Is the food good?” The answer is YES. It is not only good it is exceptional, very unique and one of the best kosher restaurants around. #LoveIt!
So needless to say I will be going back really soon!

“Everything Bagel” Devil Eggs (Shown above)
The “Everything Bagel” Devil Eggs are super delish! It’s funny because when I first heard the name of the dish I immediately thought about Publix. I know a lot of people who are in love with their Everything Bagels. LOL!

They are prepared with, salmon roe, fresh dill sprig and salmon gravlax! #Yum!
Welcome To Florida Salad
This was the first time I every had this type of salad and it was super fresh and extremely tasty.
The WTFS came prepared with mixed greens, heart of palm, white peaches, grape tomato, mango, almonds, and citrus-honey vinaigrette. #LoveIt!
Vietnamese Spring Roll
The Vietnamese Spring Rolls were just as amazing! I would literally go back just for this dish. Like Wow!
They came prepared with surimi, cucumber, avocado and peanut chili dip. A total must try!
NOTE: The Vietnamese spring rolls are not on the menu yet. However, the restaurant will be introducing their Kosher Sushi Bar in the up coming months.
The Funguy Taco’s was another winner.
These taco’s were made up of assorted shrooms, kennebec, kale and avocado aioli. They had me at kale and avocado! Those are some of my favorite foods. I am telling you guys this restaurant is so on point! Each dish was extremely good!
Zuppa Pappa Al Pommodoro
Nope can’t pronounce it, but I do know that this dish totally reminded me of Michigan on a winter day. Talk about comfort food.
It is made of E.V.O.O. and balsamic glaise. #Yum!
These fries were so bomb. They came topped with, Macahaca chicken, pico, guacamole, citrus aioli, hot sauce, togarashari.
The Mango Salmon was prepared just like I like, tender with a little crunch. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t do salmon often, but when I do I love it the Ditmas way.
The herb black risotto, citrus aioli and mango cucumber salsa made this entree EVERYTHING!
