Happy Sunday Sassy Peeps!!!!
Hope everyone’s day is going well….I must admit I was having a really great day until I started writing this post. These food pics are bringing back tons of tasty memories, and they are making it hard for me to concentrate! LOL!
The first time I ate at this Italian eatery was a few years ago when a co-worker and I traveled to Columbus, OH for business. It was amazingly tasty then and it is amazingly tasty now. Tracy, from 2 Forks and A Cork invited me out a few weeks ago to sample their new Savory Spring Menu and I am still wondering why it took me so long to return.
I started with a Cucumber Gimlet made w/Hendricks Gin. Hendricks is not for everyone, but I love the deliciously peculiar flavor. I sipped on the drink and chatted with my girl while we indulged on a dish called Bruschetta Quattro. There were samples of four different bruschettas all flavored to perfection. We had our choice of: Roasted Red Pepper Bruschetta, Applewood Bacon and Tomato Jam Bruschetta, Sliced Steak Bruschetta and Spicy Shrimp and Fontina Cheese Bruschetta. #Yummy!!!!! They were all very tasty and paired well with my Gimlet.
|Me feeding my face! LOL!|
Next, we were served; what I consider to be the best of the evening, the Lobster and Shrimp Raviloi made w/ a spicy black pepper cream sauce, spinach and grape tomatoes. This is an incredible dish and I will be recommending it to all of my friends and family!
My next entree was the delicious Grilled Chicken and Roasted Balsamic peppers made w/ Farro, quinoa, tomatoes, asparagus, almonds, Feta, pesto vinaigrette, balsamic glaze. When I took the first bite it literally melted in my mouth! Tracy let me sample her Crab and Shrimp Crusted Salmon which lay atop a bed of roasted vegetables, farro, quinoa, drizzled with a lemon vinaigrette and that was equally as good.
Last but not least came their scrumptious desserts. They offered a very nice selection, but after much thought I went with the award-winning Warm Chocolate Torta topped w/ Vanilla Bean Gelato!!!!! OMG! I am still drooling!!!
Tracy and I had a great time! Their food is speculator and when you go I can almost guarantee you will feel the same!!!! So tell me…which items have you tried or are you looking forward to trying? I would love to hear all about your experience.
