Hey Sassy Peeps,
Recently I had the pleasure of attending the 12 Hours of Sebring for the first time and it was exhilarating! I am a complete adrenaline junkie so when I received the invite from Mazda to hang out in their catered trackside hospitality area, and also meet the team/drivers representing Mazda, I immediately responded YES!
The 2018 Mazda3
Since I live a few hours away from Sebring, Mazda provided me the 2018 Mazda3 for the road trip. I had a great time with this vehicle. It is super cute, very fuel-efficient and I love the Bose Sound System! #VeryNice!
MY 12 HOURS OF SEBRING EXPERIENCE
If you are wondering what the 12 Hours of Sebring is, it is the 66th running of the Mobil 1, and North America’s longest-running sports car race and the second round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. This event is one of the most important endurance races in the world, attracting teams and spectators from across North America and Europe.
Mazda Motorsports raced two Mazda RT24-P prototype race cars (#55 and #77). They also had a large activation area where spectators could take a closer look at the entire Mazda vehicle lineup, purchase Mazda Motorsports team gear, race on Mazda’s racing simulators and take part in meet-and-greet sessions with the Mazda Motorsports drivers.
I had a great time from beginning to end, but my favorite part was the pit! Talk about a rush! It was so exciting to see the crew in action. To be honest I always thought that racing was an individual sport, but now I see that it is all about the TEAMWORK. Every crew member has to be on point to take the WIN.
Drivers for the event (#55 = J. Bomarito / H. Tincknell / S. Pigot and #77 = O. Jarvis / T. Nunez / R. Rast)
While hanging out in the Mazda hospitality suite guess who showed up, the man of the hour Tristan Nunez of #TeamJoest. It was really good to see him again. I am proud to say he is the one who recently taught me how to drive a manual vehicle. If you missed it, click HERE for deets!!
You guys already know that I love the Mazda, but the more I work with them and find out about ALL of the things they are doing, I love and respect the brand event more! #WayToGoMazda!
Thank you Mazda for inviting me to this amazing event! I had a great time!
