Hi Sassy Peeps!
Over the past few years I have had the pleasure of visiting Orlando several times. However, this trip was a bit different. Normally, I travel with a companion, but this time I decided to go alone.
Needless to say, the entire experience was pretty freakin awesome. I looked at what Visit Orlando had to offer and when it was time to leave, I ensured I had my fave playlist and then I hit the highway.
THINGS TO DO IN ORLANDO
COCO KEY HOTEL & WATER RESORT-ORLANDO
First stop was Coco Key Water Resort. I must say I love the location. It is right on International Drive, close to Disney and tons of restaurants. This area is completely alive during the day and the evening. I didn’t return back to my suite until late in the evening and the entire area was still totally lit. Everyone was outside enjoying themselves and taking in the scene.
This resort is perfect for the kiddies/families. I could tell they were enjoying the water park and all of the activities. It was a super fun place, customer service was great, but I must say it could stand a few renovations.
THE SPA ORLANDO
Like most us, we are always on the go and time is continuously flying by so for me there is nothing better than some good ol’ me time! Needless to say, when I have an opportunity for a little pampering I am so there, and since I was heading to Orlando I decided it was time to check out The Spa Orlando.
While there I was able to relax and decompress. The customer service was great and the treatments were even better. I was offered two services, the Enzymatic Sea Mud Treatment and the Signature Pedi & Hot Stone Treatment. The Enzymatic Sea Mud Treatment detoxifies, exfoliates and nourishes your body with a purifying seaweed and mineral mud poultice. Additionally, they begin the Signature Pedi & Hot Stone Treatment by shaping your nails and contouring your cuticles. They then exfoliate your calves and feet using their seasonal scrub, followed by hydration restoration using their seasonal butter. A hot stone therapy session completes this treatment. Yass Spa Orlando!
I really enjoyed my time at this spa and will definitely go back. Again, I would be remiss by not saying that although the service and treatments were great, this building and decor are also a little dated.
NOTE: When you call to book your experience make sure you ask about their monthly memberships and/or gift cards.
Orlando International Premium Outlets
What girl doesn’t like shopping?!?!?!?! Yes, I know that there are a few that don’t, but I am definitely one that does! Whenever I am in the Orlando area I always head to the International Premium Outlets to take advantage of their awesome deals. On this day the Puma Outlet was my target.
As we all know kicks have made a come back and pretty much everyone is on the lookout for some really dope and comfy sneakers. I was so stoked about the TSUGI Shinsei Wn’s and the cool backpack I snagged, that I wore them to Miami for the 2018 Nissan Kicks event.
Cinemark Artegon Marketplace and XD
After I scored my awesome kicks, I headed over to the Cinemark Artgeon Marketplace to check out the remake of the 1972 blaxploitation classic Super Fly. OK, don’t kill me, but to be honest, I wasn’t a huge fan of the original, and I really didn’t know what to expect from this version. All I knew was that his LC 500 and hair was giving me all types of life!
Although I was not a fan of the 1972 version, I really enjoyed this movie. I love that Director X made sure this new improved Priest, has character, charm, is extremely smart, business savvy and can totally kick some butt. #LoveIT!
Revolution Off Road
If you guys know me at all, you know how I feel about anything auto. So on the last day of my trip I excitedly headed over to Revolution Off Road to put the icing on this adventures cake.
I had been wanting to experience driving an ATV ever since I was a little, but one thing that I didn’t expect was the Mucky Duck. Can you say OMG! This was the experience of the year!
Now don’t get me wrong, although excited, I was originally a bit nervous. However, after my instructor, Richard, went over everything with me and I took the mini training course I was ready to drive! I started out with the ATV and then switched to the Mucky Duck, which was pretty freakin EPIC. The only thing that got me about the Mucky Duck was the water portion. To be honest I almost backed out when we approached the water, but instead of thinking about it to hard, I just went for it! I am so happy that I did, because if I would have backed out I would have totally regretted it if I didn’t.
