Hey Sassy Peeps,
A few weeks ago my mom and I had the adventure of a lifetime. We hit 95 North at 2 am and headed to Orlando. I know some of you are like, “2 am?” Yep, you read that right, 2 am.
Under normal circumstances, we wouldn’t even consider leaving at that time of the morning. However, when Orlando Balloon Rides schedules a balloon ride for 6 am and you live 2.5 hours away 2 am it is and let’s not forget that we had the smooth riding, beautiful and magnificent 2019 Lexus ES F Sport sitting outside ready to roll out.
So keep scrolling so we can get right into our adventure…
Orlando Balloon Rides
We arrived about 30 minutes before our shuttle was scheduled to depart, and like clockwork, at 6 am we were off as planned.
Everything about this experience was great! Actually, it was better then I expected. I love how everything was so interactive. Everyone participated in prepping the balloon before take off and after the ride was over we assisted with putting it back in the bag, etc. etc.
When traveling by plane, take off is my favorite part of the ride. Although, while in the air everything is extremely calm and surreal, I found out that it is the same when it comes to a balloon ride. There is something about taking off that is so exciting. I really want to experience this again. To see Orlando from a different view was simply amazing.
After about an hour in the air, the flight was over. Once landed chief pilot, Mike popped a bottle of champagne, the crew cracked corny, yet funny jokes and then bid us farewell.
Guys if you haven’t experienced this you just have to!

Market on South
After the balloon ride was over, we were famished! We headed to Market on South, a deli-cafe with planted-based meals & sweets with a bohemian vibe. Both the food and the atmosphere were on point! Although I am trying to lose weight, I know I overate! Everything was so good, I just couldn’t resist! LOL!
Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort
I was really happy to be a guest of the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort once again! I was there a few years ago with my aunt and we had a blast. To be honest, I didn’t think it could get any better, but this go around I enjoyed myself even more.
The massive resort sits on 1,500 acres of land and offers guests a fun, yet upscale travel experience. Additionally, there are 815 guest rooms/suites with unlimited luxury amenities and countless activities. Oh, let’s not forget that it is just minutes away from Walt Disney World®, Universal Orlando®, and SeaWorld® Orlando.
This go-around, my mom and I not only participated in activities outside of the hotel, but we also took part in the outdoor activities the resort offers, rock climbing, biking, hiking, and water sports. After taking it over we decided that water sports and the buggies would be super fun. Additionally, the weather was perfect and the view of the water was extremely gorgeous, so we sat for hours in swings that overlooked the water laughing and talking. We didn’t leave until it was time to get ready for dinner at the delicious Lakehouse.
Sassy Peeps, what adventures do you like to participate in while in the Orlando area? Inquiring minds want to know!
Have A Happy Healthy, and Remember to Always…
