Alright, Sassy Peeps,
Since I am ALL about the adrenaline rush, I decided to keep the supercar theme going. This time it’s ALL about the aggressive, yet beautiful 2019 DBS Superleggera, also known as the ultimate production Aston Martin. Although I did have a chance to bend a couple of Portland, Oregon corners in the 2017 DB11 a few years back, it simply did not compare to opening this beautiful beast up on the California PCH. Woo, talk about mind-blowing!

The DBS Superleggera
The 2019 DBS is definitely stronger and more muscular than ever! The MSRP on this beauty is $308,081.00 (with fuel tax). If you are wondering about the hefty price tag, well everything is hand made and on a simpler note, because it’s Aston Martin, need I say more?
A quick overview of specs:
- Top Speed: 211mph
- Acceleration: 0 -62mph (0-100km/h) in 3.4 seconds
- Maximum power: 715bhp at 6500rpm (I am all about the horsepower).
- Maximum torque: 900Nm from 1800-5000rpm
A little Aston Martin fact history:
The DB stands for David Brown, the English businessman who bought Aston Martin in 1947 and Lagonda in 1948. He owned the company from 1947 to 1972.

Bang and Olufsen
Now let’s talk about one of my favorite subjects, audio. The Bang and Olufsen audio system that comes equipped in the vehicle was quite impressive! As a self-proclaimed Audiophile that is one of the first things I look for in ANY car. This was my first time hearing B&O and I was quite pleased with its clarity and bass. B&O car audio is definitely first class.

The Special Edition DBS Superleggera
While rolling through Santa Monica in this exquisite machine, I had no idea that the DBS Superleggera was chosen to carry on the legendary Bond theme. Fifty special edition DBS’s were created to pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the film, “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”, which is pretty dope in my opinion.
Heck, if you know anything about James Bond, you know that he is an Aston Martin man. Anytime I see or hear the brands name the masculine stud comes to mind.
Note: All the special edition models will be the same shade of Olive Green, matching the original look of the 1969 DBS. Additionally, it gets a bespoke grille similar in design to the classic Aston and the only fifty are planned for production. MSRP priced at: $380,000.00

Sassy Peeps! Are you a fan of the Aston Martin Brand? How about the 2019 DBS Superleggera? If so, what do you love most about the vehicle? Inquiring minds want to know!
